Kingsbridge ArmoryThe Kingsbridge Armory. It's kind of hard to fit the whole thing into a single photo. At the time it was built it was (according to Bronx Community Board 7) the largest freestanding building in the world, the size of four football fields.
The WPA provided resources to conduct repairs at the Kingsbridge Armory (Eighth Regiment Armory) in the Bronx during the 1930s. The armory was then home to the 258th Field Artillery.
