Description
"King Stadium is a WPA project originally built to house equestrian events for the U.S. Calvary. Today, the stadium rests in near ruins. Luna Community College hopes to renovate the stadium and hold events – possibly rodeos – there, once more."

The Las Vegas Land Grant are the trustees of King Stadium. We are in the process of securing funding for needs assessment and preparation for development of this historic resource to serve again as an entertainment venue and cultural center for the region. This site is not, nor has it ever been, part of the property of the nearby Luna Community College. I was lucky enough to walk around King Stadium in the “bleachers” and area many years ago. I do hope someday it will see its old glory and that it will be in my lifetime.
