Description

Among a set of 26 WPA projects for Allegheny County, Pennsylvania approved in Sept. 1935 was the “grading and draining [of the] Kelton school playground.” The Federal government allocated $10,360 to the project while local sponsors contributed $2,422.

The school in question is no longer in operation; its exact location and current status are presently unknown to Living New Deal.
