Hi Darren, thanks for letting us know. How sad to lose such a classic Deco building!
Our friends family and I all attended Hudson Elementary School in the 50s and 60s. While we all lived in the City of La Puente.
Walking to school was a wonderful experience as I remember my younger years.
Up until the 1950’s the Hudson School accommodated white students, while the Central Avenue School (now demolished) served the Mexican and Japanese students.
I remember attending Hudson Elementary School. The field trips, the teachers I met and the students. The memories will be forever.
