Description

Regarding a Civil Works Administration project in eastern Wyoming, Michael Cassity writes:

“In Niobrara County, a local priority was to connect the new Highway 85 with the old Highway 85, “giving all the people of the north-east portion of the county a direct road into Lusk, thereby, keeping Lusk as the trading center of the county, in place of losing a great deal of trade to South Dakota and eastern Nebraska.”
