Description
Located just off the Wilbur Cross Parkway, Hamden High School was constructed as a New Deal project with federal Public Works Administration (P.W.A.) funds. The P.W.A. supplied a $212,300 grant for the project, whose total cost was $823,508. Construction occurred between Oct. 1934 and Oct. 1935.
