His name was Clarence “Cap” Wigington, not “Cal”
I am 61 years old and I took baton twirling lessons in this building back when I was a little girl, maybe 6 or 7 years old. I was suppose to march and twirl in a winter carnival parade but ended up with strep throat and mom wouldn’t let me go…I was so disappointed.
