Description
Also known as the Venice Municipal Airport, including runways and hangars, was constructed by the Civil Aeronautics Authority and the Works Progress Administration in 1935-1939. It remained a local airport until the 1950s, when the land was transferred to the school board for the construction of an educational complex.
There do not seem to be any existing structures remaining, although there is a historical marker commemorating the site.
