Description

This school was completed by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works in 1937 and bears the name of an important early town denizen. A well-constructed building, it presently serves as the Cape Girardeau City Hall and Municipal Court. One notable alumni of the Lorimier School is radio host Rush Limbaugh.
