Description
The beautiful native-stone, rock veneer hospital was opened early in 1941. A county-sponsored, WPA project, it was one of the most modern and best equipped in this section of the country when it opened. The hospital closed in the 1960s. Today it is the home of the Rolling Plains Management Corporation.
Several Texas WPA Projects Approved By the President including Crowell, Foard county, construct county hospital and Improve adjacent grounds, $14,254.
