Description
The federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed a 600-foot stone wall along the Mason Street and Asylum Street edges of Dunn Park. As of 2016 the wall remains in great condition.
The wall bears four WPA stamps; see map provided for locations and images. It appears that this project took at least one year to finish and was completed in 1939.
