Description
The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) conducted extensive development work at Grand Canyon Village, including construction of a stone culvert at Village Loop Drive just west of its intersection with Center Road, and north of parking Lot C.
CCC Walking Tour: “Civilian Conservation Corps crews installed this culvert and made many roadside improvements in the area from 1933 to 1937. This culvert has required little maintenance over the last 65[+] years.”
