Description
Creeds School was constructed for the 1939-40 school year with funds provided by the Works Progress Administration. The twelve-room structure served students from first grade through high school in the rural community of Creeds in Princess Anne County, Virginia. In 1954 when a new high school was opened in the county, Creeds School no longer offered upper level classwork. Creeds Elementary School, now located within the city of Virginia Beach, remains a vital and vibrant part of the Creeds community.

I went to Creeds Elementary as a little boy from first grade through seventh grade. I lived on Malbone Road and my family owned the property surrounding Malbone Road. My name is Ronald Malbone and I have a lot of found memories of going to school there. I would love to see the school again the next time I am in Virginia. I currently live in Avon, Indiana and I am retired from Verizon Wireless as a Principle Construction Engineer.
I just recently found out my father went to this high school !
