Stone Structures at Tennis Courts
Description
Multiple New Deal agencies collaborated in the development of Pueblo’s City Park (and one of its primary components, the Pueblo Zoo). Stunning stone facilities and walls throughout the park are still in good condition.
There are at least two WPA plaques located in the park: one at the entrance and one affixed to one of the stone buildings at the park’s tennis court complex. The plaques state:
