The Chalk Elementary school Auditorium is still standing at 40th Avenue and 7th Street in Meridian, MS. My grandfather helped built it.
So many fond memories at chalk school. Many plays I took part in in the auditorium. I also remember all the parties that we had in the auditorium. I remember at one of the Halloween carnivals I won a cake when playing ring around the chairs. I thought that was greatest thing I had ever done. Still have several pictures of my classes also. Wish I could catch up with old classmates. Go by the school every time I visit meridian.
