The WPA built this addition to Calumet High School in 1938. The site is now Calumet Junior High School. From Waymarking.com:

The Calumet High School building was constructed in 1920. It is a one-story red brick building with high stepped parapets. There is stone coping and stone blocks for embellishment.

The addition to the school extends to the north and consists of one-story flat roofed classrooms. The first section is brick, with ribbon windows set in two units of four, and one unit of five. The section to the north of this is also one-story flat roof, but has a single unit of twelve windows. The brick is covered with corrugated metal. The windows in the addition are two-over-one single hung.

The building is currently still in use as a school. The addition was constructed in 1938 with an appropriation of $25,807.

The original high school and WPA addition were demolished in the summer of 2015. A new high school was constructed across from the old school and opened in 2014; a new elementary school replaced the now-demolished school in 2016.

I teach history at Calumet High School, and had just submitted the photo of the Palmyra (NJ) High School Stadium; Palmyra is my home town. We are now talking about the WPA in our US History II class, and I went searching for WPA projects near Calumet, which is about 40 miles west of Oklahoma City. Little did I know that the old building across the street was one of those projects.
