Description

“The Band Shell built as a WPA project in 1935 sets as a centerpiece on the east side of Swensson Park. Many times during the year, you can experience concerts, special performances, and 50 years of local Broadway RFD outdoor theatre productions.”

Today the Swensson band shell houses “Broadway RFD,” the longest running outdoor theater in Kansas.
