Description
Among a set of 26 WPA projects approved for Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in Sept. 1935 was “grading and landscaping [an] athletic field” in Mount Lebanon. The Federal government allocated $11,970 for the project and local sponsors contributed $2,336. The exact location of the field is unknown to Living New Deal.
