Alamo Stadium – San Antonio TX

This facility was dedicated September 20, 1940. In 2013, it underwent a $35 million renovation, which has restored the facades, including plaques and markers. It was built in or near an abandoned rock quarry through the WPA. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a much loved place for many San Antonians who grew up here.
