"It would be difficult to design a small public building better fitted than this to the native architectural traditions of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The plan is typical of the 'one man' post-office type which can be managed by the postmaster alone. The exterior walls are red face brick trimmed with wood, the roof is covered with slate, and the cupola is wood. The construction is fireproof up to the roof which is of the slow-burning type. It was completed in July 1936. The construction cost was $48,234 and the project cost $63,427."

The Edgerton Wisconsin Post Office was constructed by the Treasury Department in 1939.

The historic post office in El Campo, Texas was built with federal Treasury Department funds in 1937-8. The building has been expanded and extensively remodeled since that time, appearing much different than it did when first constructed. That said, the post office, which house an example of New Deal artwork, is still in service as such.

The historic post office in El Dorado Springs, Missouri was constructed in 1940 with Treasury Department funds. The building is still in service.

The Eldon post office was completed in 1940 with the assistance of funds provided by the federal government. It is also the site of Frederick Shane's 1941 mural, "Picnic, Lake of the Ozarks," painted for the Treasury Section of Fine Arts and available for view in the lobby.

The historic post office building in Ellenville, New York was constructed as a New Deal project with federal Treasury Department funds. The building, which was completed in 1940, is still in use today. "The building was one of many post offices in the region which were built of stone, reflecting the historical Dutch influence in the Hudson Valley...President Franklin D. Roosevelt personally approved the design. As a native of the region, he understood the importance of stone architecture and made sure that new post offices in the region were built in that style. In late 1939, villagers in Ellenville sent Roosevelt...

The post office in Emmetsburg, Iowa was constructed with Treasury Department funds in 1939.  A Section of Fine Arts-funded mural entitled "Conservation of Wild Life" is installed in the lobby.

The historic post office building in Endicott New York "was designed and built in 1936 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by a consulting architect for the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Walter Whitlack. It is a one story, nine bay steel frame, cream-colored brick clad building on a raised granite-clad foundation executed in the Colonial Revival style." It is still in use today.

Built in 1937 with federal funding. The historic downtown post office in Englewood was completed in 1938 with funds provided by the Treasury Department. It is also the site of Boardman Robinson’s 1940 mural, “Colorado Stock Sale,” painted with funds provided by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts and viewable in the lobby.

This large post office was constructed by the Treasury Department in 1941. Unfortunately, as of late 2011, the post office was scheduled to close and the building was listed for sale. Update on current status needed.
