    Constructed by the Treasury Department in 1939. The post office has since moved to a newer facility. The building was used as an antique store, but is up for sale as of Summer 2013. The mural by James Penney that was created for this post office now hangs in the new post office at 1276 Missouri Route 47, Union, MO.

    The historic Vacaville Post Office was constructed during the Great Depression but is now privately owned. The New Deal mural still decorates the walls.

    The former Westerville post office was a New Deal project and used to contain a mural by Olive Nuhfer. The mural has been moved to a new post office north of downtown.   • Post Office (former) - Westport CT
    The former post office in Westport, Connecticut, located at 154 Post Road, was built in 1935 with federal Treasury Department funds.  "It was designed by Lansing Holden, a World War I flying ace, who won the Distinguished Service Cross.  Returning home from the war, he took up his father’s profession as an architect.  Holden continued to fly, and in 1938 he died in a crash trying to land in bad weather." In 2011 the post office was sold to a private real estate company. The building then housed a high-end restaurant, though it has changed hands again.

    The historic post office building in Williamsburg, Kentucky was constructed with Treasury Department funds. The building, located at the northeast corner of E. Sycamore St. and N. 3rd St. is now privately owned.

    The historic former post office building in Willoughby, Ohio was constructed in 1934 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building had housed an example of New Deal artwork, now missing. Postal operations have moved to a different facility in the community and the New Deal post office is now privately owned.

    The historic post office building in Yukon, Oklahoma was constructed between 1939 and 1940 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building is now municipally owned. A New Deal that was painted for this building has since been moved to the city's current postal facility.
  • Post Office (former) - Yuma AZ
    The original funding was appropriated in 1931, before the beginning of the New Deal, but the beginning of construction was in 1933 close to the time that New Deal funds were being released to Arizona. Additionally, at the dedication, the governor's secretary "made a plea to Arizona citizens for greater unity in support of the national and state recovery programs."
  • Post Office (former) – Laguna Beach CA
    In 1938, the U.S. Treasury Department funded the construction of a post office in Laguna Beach, CA.  It is a single-story Mediterranean Rival structure with stucco exterior and tile roof. It only served as a post office for a few years and later converted to retail space. The building still stands today.   As of January 2023, it was for sale.
  • Post Office (former) Addition - Ithaca NY
    The U.S. Treasury Department funded an addition to Ithaca, New York's former main post office (now Ithaca's Town Hall) during the mid-1930s. The project was completed in early 1936. Ithaca's Downtown Station post office continues to occupy a corner of the old building.
  • Post Office (former) Addition - Kingston NY
    Kingston, New York's 1907 post office, located at the northeast corner of Broadway and Grand Street, was enlarged and remodeled using Treasury Department funds in a project completed in 1938. The local paper Daily Freeman reported in 2013: "It was a beautiful granite post office built there in 1907," but it eventually got to be too small for the community's needs, Ford said. A former mayor could have purchased the old building for $1 and preserved it, the historian said, but he wanted the property back on the tax rolls, so the building was sold and torn down.

    "The U.S. Post Office, Courthouse, and Customhouse, also known as Main Post Office, is a historic post office, courthouse, and custom house, located on Rodney Square in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware.     The historic post office in downtown Greenwich, Connecticut was originally constructed in 1916-7. A rear extension was added to the building to as part of a New Deal project completed in 1938 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building is now privately owned. An example of New Deal artwork created for the facility has since been relocated.

    The Old Post Office Building at 296 Chestnut St in Meadville, Pennsylvania was constructed ca. 1910. The building received a New Deal-era extension in 1936, funded by the Treasury Department. It is now privately owned.

    An extension to the old Northampton Post Office was constructed in 1938 with Treasury Department funds. It is located at 47 Pleasant Street, and currently houses various private offices. "The building was built in 1903 as a United States Post Office. It was expanded during subsequent years, then decommissioned and sold by the Postal Service in 1979. The building was renovated in 1990. It is constructed of stone and brick in Neoclassical design enhanced with two story graceful palladium windows, concrete columns, and impressive wood detail."

    Artist Fletcher Martin painted this Section of Fine Arts oil-on-canvas mural "The Horse Breakers" in 1940 for the Lamesa post office. The post office has since moved, but the mural remains in its original location in what is now a school district office.
