Post Office – Logan WV

The historic post office in Logan, West Virginia was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds. The building, which was constructed in 1937, houses an example of New Deal artwork and is still in service.

The historic Logan post office houses an example of New Deal artwork: “The Letter,” a sculpture created in 1940 by Gleb Derujinsky. The work was commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.
