The historic post office in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania was constructed in 1936 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building, which houses an example of New Deal artwork, is still in service today.

Post Office Mural – Catasauqua PA

The mural “Arrival of the Stage,” located in the lobby of the historic Catasauqua post office, was a New Deal work commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts. The mural was completed in 1936 and is still visible today.
