  • Post Office (former) - Brownsville TN
    The one-story brick Colonial Revival building has four original 32-light display windows, original paired eight-light wood and glass doors, with wooden surround and broken pediment over the door . The building has a brick parapet, stone cornice with ornamentation, and stone window lintels. Sometime between the 1960s and 1980s (records differ), a new post office was built and the facility was sold and converted to a furniture store.
  • State Highway 29 Bridge at the Colorado River - Burnet TX
    The construction of the Colorado River bridge was part of a larger THD undertaking to reroute SH 29 around Buchanan Dam, which was under construction beginning in 1931. The original roadway and the bridge across the Colorado at Bluffton were inundated by Lake Buchanan after completion of the dam in 1937. The bridge site was fixed 1 mile below the Buchanan Dam, at a location where a granite outcropping formed a ledge at the east bank of the river.   • Tahoe National Forest: Calpine Lookout - Sierraville CA
    The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built the Calpine lookout tower in 1934. The forest fire lookout tower was in service until 1975. The three-story structure has exterior stairs, a ground floor storage room, a second floor sleeping room, and the observation cab on the top floor. The structure is one of the many CCC-built lookout towers that have been used for decades to spot wildfires fires in California's forests.   • Jug Handle Creek Bridge - Mendocino CA
    The Works Progress Administration (WPA) played an important role in the construction of highway 1 along the California coast during the 1930s – most famously along the Big Sur coastline. WPA crews also worked on highway 1 in Mendocino County, where they built three new bridges  — Jack Peters Creek bridge, Russian Gulch bridge and Jughandle Creek bridge.  Jughandle Creek bridge, completed in 1938, is 388 feet long, with a central span of 210 feet.  It is a concrete open-spandrel arch design.   • Rawlins Park Redevelopment - Washington DC
    According to the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites (2009 edition), the history of Rawlins Park dates back to about 1872, when Congress authorized $10,000 for a statue of Union General John Rawlins.   From 1935 to 1938, Rawlins Park was redesigned and renovated by the Works Progress Administration (WPA).  This work included a reflecting pool and new landscaping, and probably more.  (There are two reflecting pools at the park today).
