On Wednesday, January 27, Harvey Smith, author of Berkeley and the New Deal and a Living New Deal advisor, and Jon Golinger, founder of Save Coit Tower, will be discussing the artists who came together, in 1933 and 1934, to complete the twenty-seven murals that now grace San Francisco’s Coit Tower. The discussion starts at 6 pm and is free. The discussion is part of a larger celebration of these artists and their work that will be showcased from January 16 to April 2 at the Skylight Exhibit Area of the San Francisco Main Library.
