Gray Brechin will speak on May 8 at 6:00 PM at the Roxy Stadium in Santa Rosa about the importance of a New Deal approach to disaster recovery and public health. In the aftermath of the 2017 fires, Sonoma faces another threat to its built legacy with the proposed demolition of the former County Hospital on Chanate Road. Gray will discuss the significance of this New Deal landmark and the need for New Deal-type support for post-disaster recovery, public health, and rangeland management in Sonoma. The event will take place at Roxy Stadium 14, 85 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
