Gray Brechin to Speak about two New Deal Era Films, San Francisco Main Public Library, Sept 8

Gray Brechin will be providing commentary on two of Pare Lorentz’s New Deal era films,  The Plow that Broke the Plains (1936) and The River (1937). Titled “Storms, Droughts, Floods: Classic Documentaries,” the talk will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, at the Koret Auditoriaum, San Francisco Main Public Library.
