Hiding in Plain Sight: The New Deal Legacy in the Bay Area.

Description: A discussion of the New Deal’s legacy of public works and art, which is all around us in the Bay Area and still very much in use. A visual survey of some of the important New Deal sites around the region, and some more obscure ones, as well.

Richard Walker is Professor Emeritus of Geography at UC Berkeley and Director of the Living New Deal Project. He has spoken before at St. Paul’s and appreciates the engaged audiences there.
