Exhibition of Vermont’s WPA Art Collection

The T.W. Wood Gallery in Montpelier, VT, is planning a joint exhibit with the Central Vermont Medical Center to exhibit the state’s collection of Works Progress Administration (WPA) art. The WPA exhibit will highlight many works from the outstanding collection of paintings and prints within the Gallery’s collection–more than 100 WPA era pieces by artists, including Henry Schnakeberg’s Clouds Over Equinox (pictured here). The T.W. Wood Gallery is the sole repository for WPA artwork in Vermont. (Check out a video about its collection.)

Reception at the Central Vermont Medical Center on Monday, Oct. 10, 5:00 – 7:00 PM
