Brent McKee, Project Historian with the Living New Deal will speak about the Works Progress Administration, the Civilian Conservation Corps, and the Public Works Administration. He will discuss how these programs employed citizens during the Great Depression and mobilized them to preserve forests, build infrastructure and schools and extend art and culture throughout the in the nation, Maryland, Baltimore and Clifton Park.
The event will take place at the Clifton Mansion in Baltimore.
