Join us for an evening walk at Muir Woods National Monument, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the New Deal and the Civilian Conservation Corps, one of earliest and most popular New Deal “relief programs.” Learn about the CCC’s imprint in Marin, including at Muir Woods National Monument, and efforts underway to rehabilitate Redwood Creek for spawning salmon. Speakers include historians Dr. Gray Brechin and Matt Cerkel, Marin Municipal Water District Senior Ranger; Carolyn Shoulders, Salmon Enhancement Project manager and Joe Gibson, NPS Trail Crew.Registration required.
