The PWA-funded Treasure Island Administration Building will be the venue of the 80th Anniversary Celebration of the Golden Gate International Exposition on Feb. 2. The event is organized by the Treasure Island Museum Association.

“SAVE THE DATE and RSVP here! Treasure Island’s beautiful Art Moderne “Administration Building” will be the setting for an afternoon of lively presentations, conversations with GGIE “veterans,” a raffle, refreshments, exhibits, and more. Speakers include Kathryn Ayres of the San Francisco Post Card Club and Paul Totah, editor of The San Francisco Fair, published for the fair’s 50th anniversary in 1989. The celebration will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm in the lobby of the former Administration Building of the fair, on Treasure Island. A freewill offering of $10 is suggested at the door.”
