The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built football and baseball fields for the former Bingham High School in Copperton, Utah.   Over the last 150 years, there have been five successive Bingham High Schools in the Bingham Canyon Area, part of the present  Jordan School District, including the current one in the town of West Jordan. The WPA athletic fields were built for  the fourth version of the high school, located in the town of Copperton. The Works Progress Administration completed repairs at the Delanco school in Delanco NJ. "Just when things looked as if they might be getting better, they found in 1937 that the walls in the· auditorium were faulty and unsafe. They were rebuilt by the Works Projects Administration - more familiarly the WPA." The facility was located at Walnut, Hickory, Union and Chestnut St. It was removed circa 1962.

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the Placitas Elementary School in Placitas NM. This building was the elementary school for the unincorporated village of Placitas under the Bernalillo Public School System. There was a land swap of this site with Bernalillo Public Schools for a Gymnasium at Our Lady of Sorrows in the Town of Bernalillo. This land swap resulted in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe owning the building. The building is next door to the San Antonio Mission and the property was needed for the parking. The house was first leased to the Arthur Murphy family inn 1938, The entire farm consisted of 299 acres. The house was donated and moved in March 2014 to the FiberMax Center for Discovery (formerly the Bayer Museum of Agriculture) by the Larry Smith family, to be used as a museum exhibit. The Works Progress Administration built sidewalks and/or completed improvements on Tyndall Avenue in Tucson. WPA sidewalk stamps are located along Tyndall Ave. between First and Second Streets. The sidewalk may seem a minor project, but it is in front of a lovely old row of adobe style craftsman cottages that have been converted to "marginal" academic uses (public policy, global sustainability, women's studies). But that lovely scale and architecture are being obliterated by high rise upscale student housing.
