• Elementary School (demolished) - Morgan UT
    The PWA funded the construction of Morgan Elementary School in 1936. It was demolished in 1994 and a new elementary school was built.
  • Eureka Grade School (former) - Eureka UT
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of the old Eureka Grade School in Eureka, Utah. The school was probably completed in 1939. The main two-story building and accompanying single story structure were designed by the architecture firm of Scott and Welch. The contractor of record was Tolboe & Tolboe. The style is brick Moderne, with a curved front on the smaller of the two buildings.   • Grade School (demolished) - Cokeville WY
    The former Grade School building in Cokeville, Wyoming was constructed as part of a federal Public Works Administration (P.W.A.) project during the Great Depression. Construction was completed in 1939. The building, which Living New Deal believes to have been located along Pine Street, has since been demolished and replaced with a newer educational campus.   • Grand County Courthouse - Moab UT
    The Grand County courthouse was completed in June 1937 and dedicated on July 2.  It cost $60,000, with half the money coming from the Public Works Administration (PWA) and half from local bonds (Firmage, p. 289).  It is still in use as a courthouse.  
  • High School (demolished) - Evanston WY
    The former high school in Evanston, Wyoming was constructed as a federal Public Works Administration (PWA) project during the Great Depression. Construction was performed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and completed in 1936. PWA Docket No. WY 1023-R.   • Middle School - Morgan UT
    The Morgan Middle School contains a building that was formerly named the Morgan High School Mechanical Arts Building.  A new high school was built one block east of this site, but the Morgan Middle School still uses the building. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the building in 1936 as part of a $155,000 Public Works Administration (PWA) building program in the Morgan County School District.  Also included in the project was the construction of the Morgan Elementary School and extensive remodeling at Morgan High School.   • Myton Grade School (demolished) - Myton UT
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of the Myton Grade School in Myton NV for the Duchesne County School District. The school was designed by the architecture firm Scott and Welch. The contractor of record was Tolboe & Tolboe. The New Deal school, which was constructed c. 1939, has been replaced in recent years by a new structure at the same site.    
  • San Juan High School (former) - Blanding UT
    In early 1937, San Juan High School burned to the ground. With the insurance payment and a federal grant from the Public Works Administration (PWA), the county school district was able to erect a new school building. The large brick Moderne style school was completed in late 1938. Today, it is largely unchanged, both inside and out (a small porch roof hides the old High School name carved over the front door).   • School Addition - Roosevelt UT
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) and the Works Progress Administration funded the construction of an addition to a school building in Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah. (The town is named after T.R. not FDR) The school addition was designed by the architecture firm Scott & Welch and the contractor of record was Tolboe & Tolboe.     The PWA built this school in Orderville in 1935-36. It is not entirely clear from satellite and street views how much of the original structure remains, as the site has been expanded over the years. From the National Register of Historic Places: "This is a one-story, rectangular building with a full basement.
