    A plaque on the former Tuleta Grade School indicates the Works Progress Administration constructed the building between 1938 and 1940. No other details on the original construction have been found. The building burned around 2002. It is now privately owned and has been partially restored.

    A plaque on the gymnasium at the Pettus Texas school complex indicates the Works Progress Administration constructed the building between 1938 and 1940. No other details on the original construction have been found. A bond package in 2015 included funds to renovate the gymnasium.

    This little Art Deco gem was constructed for the City of Rome Water Department by the Works Projects Administration (the renamed WPA) in 1938-40.  The building contained offices and parking (the entrance on the left was originally a garage bay).  Its present use is unknown.
