Sheridan Bridge was built with funds from the federal Public Works Administration (PWA) in 1938-39.  It was not a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project – a common error repeated in the entry in Wikipedia, owing of the similarity of PWA & WPA. The plaque on the bridge states that it was funded by "The Emergency Administration of Public Works," which was the official name of the PWA (another source of confusion). "The Silcox Hut is a small rustic mid-mountain lodge located at 6,950 feet elevation on Mount Hood, Oregon, United States. Originally constructed as Cary High School in 1938-39 with the assistance of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The building, which replaced a 1913 school, was built at a cost of $132,000. The building now houses the Cary Arts Center.

The historic East Providence post office houses examples of New Deal artwork: three Section of Fine Art murals painted by Eugene Kingman in 1939. However, the murals are not in good condition. A third of the mural "East Providence" has fallen off the wall.

Today this building is known as El Mercado, the home of the largest Mercado outside of Mexico. It was built as a WPA project during 1938-1939 after the existing municipal market house (known as the Giles building) was torn down. The new market was originally named the Municipal Truck Market because it was designed with a wide entry so farmers could drive their truck into the market and sell their produce direct from their truck. The vocational building was constructed in Randolph during an expansion of the school in the 1930s. A teacher's house was also added, and is located behind the vocational building. A plaque on the vocational building shows it was constructed by the NYA in 1939. The school itself was demolished in 2009, but the vocational building remains in use as a community center and the site of annual community reunions.

"This is one of the non-descript WPA-constructed bridges throughout Oklahoma that are a surprise to find. Driving north on Broadway from Edmond, you cross Waterloo Road which is the boundary between Oklahoma and Logan Counties...
