    Located at the southwest corner of U.S. 59 and S 550 Rd., a few miles east of Afton, Oklahoma, the former Iron Post school building was built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1938. Built of uncut native stone, the 73' x 26' building is now privately owned.
  • Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College: perimeter wall - Miami OK
    A 1985 Oklahoma Landmark Inventory identifies the perimeter wall around parts of the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College to be a Works Progress Administration (project), built in 1937-8: The campus of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College is partially encompassed by a WPA constructed rock fence. This double rock, 4 foot high and 18 inch thick fence is constructed of uncut and uncoursed native sandstone. It extends north to south some 150 feet, and east to west some 470 feet.   • Silver Peak Lookout (former) - Coronado National Forest AZ
    The historic (former) Silver Peak fire lookout tower in Coronado National Forest was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1938. It has since burned down. NRHP Nomination Form: "This lookout house, an L-4 type located on the Douglas Ranger District, was erected in 1938 by a CCC crew. It is situated on top of a rocky knob.   • Bailey Dam - Montpelier VT
    The Winooski River Local Protection Project in Vermont, a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) undertaking, entailed "replacing an old timber dam at Montpelier by a small concrete dam (now called Bailey Dam) with tainter gates." The project is located on the Winooski River west of Main Street.  It was built sometime between 1934 and 1938.
  • Garfield Elementary School - Selma CA
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) constructed this Art Deco style building in the small town of Selma. The bronze plaque specifies that was project No. Calif. 1493-1-DS. The architect, W. D. Coates, also designed the Reedley Junior College for the PWA.
  • Gymnasium - Darrouzett TX

The P.W.A. provided a $28,000 loan and $22,581 grant for the project, whose total cost was $50,180. P.W.A. Docket No. TX 1135 A project in which the PWA allocated $31,000 in loans and $25,363 in grant money toward the construction of "a waterworks system adequate for the growing needs of this growing oil city was never ultimately undertaken.
