Jack J. Greitzer Sites

This oil on canvas mural, entitled "Post Office Interiors," was painted by Jack Greitzer in 1936 for the new main post office, which was completed in 1934. The mural still hangs in the original building, which was renamed the M.K. Ferguson building but is now known as the Tower City Center. The New Deal mural "Cooperative Planning and Development of Wauseon" was painted for the Wauseon, Ohio post office. The oil-on-canvas work, painted by Jack J. Greitzer (1910-1989) and commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts, is viewable in the post office lobby.
