    At Badlands National Park (formerly Badlands National Monument), WPA and CCC workers constructed buildings, created parking areas, made road improvements, and installed utilities. These crews helped develop the park that so many tourists and vacationers enjoy today.
  • Water System - Interior SD
    A waterworks construction project in Interior, South Dakota was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $9,500 loan and $3,789 grant for the project, whose total cost was $13,718. Work occurred between July 1935 and January 1936. (PWA Docket No. SD 8599)
