"A careful study by the school officials of the inadequate school facilities of Kenton County resulted in the construction of two identical high-school buildings, one of which is considered on this page. The Independence High School is 2 stories and a basement in height and includes 15 classrooms, a gymnasium, an auditorium, a cafeteria, study hall, library, and the necessary administrative offices.
