    "Workmen are breaking ground for an $8,000 City Hall and firehouse, which will be built under the C.W.A. plan. Of brick construction, the building will be erected on the site of the old firehouse, which is being razed. The project will provide work for thirty men, twenty unskilled, ten skilled, wages running from 45 cents to $1.10 an hour. This improvement will be largely financed through Federal funds."
